I had brief anxieties when the wind and the cold really started. Branches were falling off neighbors' trees and my working area was right under some suspicious branches. I was ready to bolt at the first hint of a crack above me.

I did try to paint on some text in sumi-e ink, but the bricks weren't as frozen as I had thought. Most of it has smudged or, more mysteriously, faded away... somewhere.

On this day, February 29th 2008, jealous Hyperion Apollo destroyed the temple to High-thundering Zeus. The entire front face fell over, more or less intact, onto the ground.
